AORA SCENT EDUCATION
EDT vs EDP vs Parfum vs Extrait de Parfum
Fragrance labels can look confusing, but the basic idea is simple: EDT, EDP, Parfum and Extrait generally indicate different concentration styles.
Eau de Toilette (EDT)
is commonly positioned as a lighter style. Eau de Parfum (EDP) generally contains a stronger fragrance presence. Parfum sits toward the richer end. Extrait de Parfum is commonly associated with high concentration and a dense, luxurious fragrance experience.
Exact percentages are not universal across every brand, so treat these categories as useful guides rather than rigid laws.
Why concentration is only one factorThe formula matters. Citrus-heavy scents can feel bright and energetic but evolve differently from vanilla, amber, woods or oud. Projection and longevity also depend on skin and climate.
Where AORA sitsAORA fragrances are made at 30% fragrance concentration and presented as Extrait de Parfum. We use that concentration across our men’s, women’s and unisex collection so customers can focus on choosing the scent profile they actually love.
Fresh? Try INFINITY or ILLUSION. Sweet? Try OBSESSION, ADDICTION or HEAVEN. Floral? Explore ROSE, FLAME, DESTINY or SENORITA. Oud? Start with ARABIAN GOLD, PASSION OUD, SHADOW OUD or SILK OUD.
